Cultivated over a thousand years in the mild rainy and foggy climate of the mountainous Zhejiang Province, LongJing or Dragon Well tea, is believed to be one of China’s most valued treasures.  It was once said that the emperor of China, Qianglong, bestowed upon LongJing the title of Emperor’s tea as the potent jade infusion succeeded in curing the mother Empress from her aliments.  We now know that the unique dark climate within which LongJing tea grows ensures that the leaves retain high levels of theanine which gives the tea its mellow taste as well as its revitalising properties

Brewing Guide

Pour 80°C water over 4g of tea leaves per cup and infuse for 2 minutes. The leaves can be reinfused up to 2 times
